The Plockton Cottages offers a self-service launderette onsite open for public use. The launderette is located to the right of Bealach Cottage when entering the drive. The Cottages are located on Frithard Road: pass through the village via Harbour Street and continue up the hill as the road turns left. Please read our guidelines prior to use of the laundry.
Please pay via the honest box upon arrival or via the Bank Transfer information available onsite.

Outdoor drying lines are available for use, weather-permitting
Complimentary washing powder available
Cold drinks and a self-service coffee machine are available for guest use (pay via the honesty box/bank transfer)
Guidelines
Please only use the launderette during operating hours as to not disturb the guests in our cottages. Machines are unavailable on Friday and Saturday mornings & afternoons during cottage changeovers.
Please park on the street below the cottages. There is ample free roadside parking. Do not block the parking area in front of the laundry door; this is parking for Bealach Cottage Guests
If you do not have cash for the honesty box, please use the bank transfer details available in the launderette.
Ring the doorbell inside the shed for assistance. We live onsite and will usually be available if there is a need. You can also contact us at info@plocktoncottages.co.uk.

Only 10 minutes walk from the cottages, the top of Frithard Hill offers stunning views west to the Cuillins of Skye, North to the Applecross Hills and East Plockton Harbor & the Hills beyond.

5 minutes walk on Frithard Road towards the village from the viewpoint, a lovely 30-45 minute circular woodland walk with multiple loch and island views. Donations to the owner are welcome at end .

A further 5-10 minutes downhill to the harbor, visit the main pier, and picturesque white houses. The Plockton Playpark is also located on the peninsula, south of the pier.
