The Jewel of the Highlands

Plockton

Set on a sheltered bay of Loch Carron it has sweeping views of sea and mountain, a warming Gulf Stream allowing palm trees to flourish. The village was the setting for BBC’s Hamish Macbeth and the Wickerman film.
The cottages are within a 10 minute walk to the village centre, with The Shores Restaurant, The Plockton Hotel & The Plockton Inn all award winning for their food & drink, best to pre-book in the summer, plus a handful of places offering take away & fresh produce to dine in. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, with Calum’s Seal trips top of the list, in addition to stunning walks.
